I just got my car running like 3 days ago. It had a really bad pinout job and wiring issues. I havn't driven it much because it was sputtering and bogging out under boost. So I went through the ic piping and there were no holes. So I went to re-time it and it was running like shit so I unplugged the TPS sensor and it ran perfectly. I assumed it was a bad TPS sensor and my buddies are trying to explain to me why it's not. Should I believe them?

It could be bad causing way too much resistance and making it run like shit.
I would check the voltage with a voltage meeter and make sure you are getting the right resting voltage and right full open voltage
If you end up needing one please let me know I have an SR one ran it on my race car and I bought it new from Nissan for 40 buckaroos (usually they go for 80-120 bucks!!!). - shipping is free.
