So I'm trying to get my basicly stock KA24DE started for the first time and i'm having trouble. My MS2 isn't really co-operating. Before I lost all my files, the car would crank and sputter like it wanted to start, but no go. I'm pretty sure it's an ignition/spark issue. I was only using the low res ring in the stock dizzy to read rpm and position. What I want to try is this MSx/Extra EFI • View topic - Writing Wheel Mods (http://www.msextra.com/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=30254&start=180). Basically it uses both the low and high res rings in the dizzy to get a more accurate rpm reading. I think that's how it works anyways, am i wrong? The question is, has anyone else tried this before? on a KA i mean? and does anyone have a base map for a stock or nearly stock KA i can try? Any help is greatly appreciated.
