s13 with s13sr.

So since im done for the season, i noticed that latley when i dont drive the s13 much lets say 1-2 days of no driving/startup's. When i start the car it blows smoke only up wamrup until its fully warm or driven some. Still runs awesome and no smoke any other time. Called a local shop was told my valve stem seals are on the bad side, they also told me its not that big of deal since its not doing it constant, since when it warms up the seals heatup and swell.

So my question, is it that big of deal forreals? I plan on doing a big upgrade this winter/offseason already have s15turbo power fc and going with some hks cams, also injectors.

Do a head gasket when you do your big upgrade and replace them then.

No it's not terrible. Keep track of the oil level.

The engine already has a metal oem gasket on it. But if you say so.

So should I not wory about the valves? Just make sure my oil levels are constant?

no. They're getting lubed as that's what's burning off. if you've already got a reusable MLS gasket then just pull the head when you do your upgrades and get it fixed.

no I'm not the 411 yellow pages guide to machine shop prices in washington state.. I live in florida... says right next to the name.. get your own phone book and call local shops. It doesn't matter if some shop in florida will do it for free and throw in a bj from a korean hooker.. you ain't in florida..
