Have a weird problem with my SR20. It's running a standalone AEM EMS, and starts/runs perfectly. When racing the car and when the car is warm (but not overheated) it sometimes won't start. The car cranks, but simply won't start unless you let it sit for about 15-30 mins.
Here is the weird part - If you do a quick 2-3mph clutch-pop start when this happens, it starts instantly and runs perfectly.
Starter cranks fast, battery is new, alternator is fine, temperature is fine, fuel pressure is perfect. It's like the AEM computer simply thinks the car shouldn't be allowed to start using the starter. Why would the pop-start be different? Really odd problem. Is there somewhere in the AEM where you can set warm-start parameters?
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
