who has taken greddy gauges apart?

Long story short, I started buying Greddy gauges for my car back in the day and they changed the style....and new old stock is hard to find these days. I have black gauges with green lighting. The new versions have red lighting.

Question:

For the old style gauges with white lettering and white needles, are the light bulbs solely responsible for coloring the light green? Or is there green colored plastic inside that a white bulb shines into?
