my idle is alllllll messed up, I want to try and pull my idle air control valve and clean the plunger and inspect the spring, but I cant figure out where it is on the KA24DE motor, do I need to pull the intake manifold off the get at it? or go from under the car?

I appreciate any thoughts / help

I asked a couple of the tech's here at the dealership I work at and they took a quick peek with the hood open and just shrugged and said must be on the collector of the intake manifold somewhere thats all the help I have got so far haha

IACV is on the lower bottom portion of the manifold, behind the plenum.
You can use a flat head screw driver or a philips screw driver to adjust the idle.
I prefer using a flat head screw driver so that I don't strip the IACV.
It's good to have a second person on hand to tell you where idle is at or ge a tester.

yupp.
look at the motor from the passenger side,
look for the intake manifold and reach in the back
where the firewall is and that lil thing in the back is the
IACV, hopefully thats not confusing or if u already know
how it looks like so u dont screw up lol.
its pretty much close to the firewall and in the middle of the
intake manifold.

for all where is "x" component questions, just check the FSM. i mean, seriously, it has exploded view pictures (!). much easier than asking on any forum.
