Ok i changed out my timing cover the old one was leaking/had been punctured by a janky ass bracket i made. I changed out the cover but swapped over the oil pump. now i have no oil pressure i started my car and my oil guage read 0 so i killed it ASAP. Oil pan is new im thinking i put the oil pump gears in wrong. Theres a dot on each gear do i line these up then put it back together i did this the 1st time and it ran good what happen this time IDk does anybody know if theres a specified way to put the gears in facing or lining up the marks in any specified way?
PS oil pan is brand new same for oil pickup sae ones i was running before that worked fine.

so the oil pump is new?
did you make sure to put the gasket between the oil pump and the pick up?
pull the CAS plug and crank it over a few times 10 second intervals and try again

I read this as...
I broke my front cover.. so I took another used front cover and put the oil pump guts in from my broken front cover and now I have no oil pressure.
it's not exactly clear what's going on...

I get that from it too.
make sure the oil pickup is sealed to the cover, and make sure no chunks of RTV are caught in the pickup. Pull the CAS plug and crank it a few times to build up oil pressure.

Did you transfer over the pressure regulator? Does the new cover have a pressure valve on it?

Yes broke old one got a used cover swapped the guts (LOL GUTS) no oil pressure. Im thinking i put the (GUTS) in wrong. Mostly i dont know if the oil pump gears have marks that need to be lined up.

Theres no chunks of RTV and yes the pickup is on bolted to the cover with a gasket.I hand cranked the motor for awhile to try and build pressure till atleast oil comes out of the cam squirters.

As said before i transfered of all the (GUTS) hahaha
