I bought a block without a crank this week and plan to use it with my old crank from a different S13 SR.

I know if your block/crank were part of the same motorset you could use the block and crank markings to determine what crank bearings you need. Since this is not the case for me what type of voodoo magic do i need to do to figure out what bearings I need for my setup?

you need the voodoo magic tools called a micrometer and a dial bore gauge

or you can buy, measure and then try to return bearings with plastigauge. (prob not gonna be able to return)

If you know the crank to be standard and in good shape then get standard SR20DE bearings from any auto parts supply place. If you pay more than $100 for rods, mains, and thrusts you're getting jipped.
