hello everyone here on zilvia, im doing the rb25det swap into my s13 hatch, but i have heard they have problems with being starved of oil, can anybody help me with a way to solve this problem if its true and please let me know of any other problems i should know about and various ways i can protect my engine. thank you in advance:bow:

The main problem is the crankshaft oil pump drive being too short. Keep your rpm below 7500 and you'll be fine with a totally stock rb25.
The starvation problem you should worry about only if you are doing heavy circuit driving.

oh ok because its gonna be part time time attack car and most of the time drift car, but i have heard that an external oil reservoir is an option to eliminate the robbing of oil

Never heard of it. I have heard of people using an accusump if that's what you mean.

I believe he's referring to what they call a 'dry sump'. Its an external reservoir/pump.
