can this be the reason my S13 SR doesn't spark and turn over? there's only one like this btw. and how does it get this way?

That looks like rust..? Was there moisture down by the spark plug or somthing?

not at all and the coilpack cover has been on all along. there's only one like that. today i installed a reverse light on a switch and hardwired another cig lighter besides cleaning up some stuff. it was running fine yesterday so it has to be somethin small. any suggestions for no spark at all? i have a z32 ignitor layin around and my CAS has never been touched...

Find out.....

stick in a spark plug
Ground the PLug
Have some one turn over the engine
look for spark
repeat for all 4

i'm pretty sure the first few turns with coil 1 sparked (i did it in the dark) and then stopped. then 2 and 3 didn't spark at all.

shits running now and i have no idea lol. i had no brake fluid so i filled that up, banged on the starter a bunch and cranked for like 15 secs while pumpin the gas and it came over. thanks for all the advice guys
