engine is an sr20det.

removed the intake runners to replace oil filter housing o-rings (it was leaking).

found (edit) brown (/edit) liquid in the 2 tubes closest to the fire wall.

it had a smell of gas, but the gasket and opening had a brown liquid around it.

what could the liquid found in the intake runners be and what could it mean?

car was not smoking before or anything before i drained the oil.

no oil found on coils, or in radiator.

i checked the pcv valve last night and seemed to be doing what it's supposed to do.

but due to further research it just may be bad and in need of replacement.

thanks for the heads up murphy!

PCV s are super cheap for SR and KA and you can get them at any local auto parts store for about 5-12 bucks. It's basically just a check valve.

I would also hook your crank back up to vacuum as well.
