HELP.. rough idle & black smoke..ideas?!?

im having a rough idle. sometimes dies when i clutch in.. i was watching it under the hood and i opened up the throttle , when i did i csaw some black smoke come from the tailpipe.

my setup
KADE.
practically new waterpump
nismo thermostat
idk what else to say

Sounds like a vacuum leak or coolant temp sensor. Check them.

could be coolant temp sensor. i has running hot. turned out to be thermostat. so threw in a nismo thermostat. everything seemed fine until like 2 days after. vacuum leak is a good possibility, ill check and get back to this.

any advice with the coolant temp sensor?

it could be many things. try unplugging the ecu and resetting it. or pull codes.

my car did the same exact thing, i cleaned the maff and flushed the rad and was fine again. hope that helps if not hopefully you get it fixed man.
