Hey, I’m still pretty new to this but I jut want it to be taken care of. A month or two ago I had my KA24DE swapped into an ‘89 fastback. There were minimal problems, like I’d start up the car in the morning and just have to drive so that the car would stay on. My guess is the alternator. Recently a friend tried to fix my throttle cable because it didn’t seem right. Since that day every time I try to drive my car and shift into neutral my car stalls out when I come to a complete stop. Yesterday I put in my brand new throttle cable and it ran like a champ. I got to my friends house, threw it into neutral and it started idling funny. The car suddenly just died. My friend fixed the idle and it was fine. Now it keeps idling weird and shutting off. My guess is that it is the throttle body and the car isn’t holding its charge because the alternator. I don’t want to make assumptions. I just want help with this problem. Any ideas?
