Vids from my first drift event/practice session

I finally made it out to a real event (no more screwing around in parking lots haha)...I'm just learning and I was told I did alright for my first event *shrug*. Let me know what you guys think and positive criticism would be appreciated :) Thanks.

Current setup:
-2003 5.3l LSx V8
-1999 Camaro T56
-Welded diff.
-Recaro DC2/speed seats
-Stance Gr+'s (6 clicks from soft up front, 7 clicks from soft out back)
-17/215/45 Continental's up front (33psi), and i just used up some old 205/55/15 cooper st tourings out back (38psi).

You are wasting your time, gas, and frustration even attempting to drive on those tires.

i wouldn't even want to drift those sizes on a stock ka.

I'd AT LEAST try a 235 or 245 in front and a 245 or 255 in back. AT LEAST

I agree power is there, just gotta hold on to the drifts and start connecting your transitions going around the turns...This was your first real event so not bad...

Not bad for your first event! Its not as easy as it looks. Starting with a small tire like a 205 on the rear is a good idea for your first time at the track it will keep your speeds down a little and help with your trasitions. A wider rear tire might grip and push you into the wall. Keep practicing and as you get better work you way up in tire size. You already have the power thats for sure. Good Luck
