UPDATE car has a JWT sticker on the ecu. Says it is tuned for z32 maf and 756cc injectors. May have to give them a shout about it. Or maybe just call Shad.

I just picked this car up on Saturday and being completely new to sr'd 240's I am trying figure out what is causing my trouble. I believe it needs a new tune but could you guys give it a look over for me. Modifications are listed below.

Engine Modifications:
Redtop SR20DET
SC61 Turbo
ICHIBA Turbo Manifold
MSD 72lb injectors
JGY Fuel Rail
Greddy FMIC
Greddy Type-S BOV
Greddy Oil Catch Can
Z32 MAF
Walbro 255lph Pump
Fuel Pressure Gauge
Blitz Nur-spec exhaust w/ flowmaster straight through muffler has a cat converter on it.
Earls Stainless Steel Clutch Line/Bypass
Greddy Profec B-Spec2 Boost Controller
Apexi turbo timer
Blitz boost controller (not sure of tune on it)

-- Turbo manifold, Z32 MAF, ECU Harness, downpipe, igniter resistor are all fairly new.

It feels like the car is bogging down once it hits 4k or so rpm's other then that she purrs like a kitten. Any help would be appreciated as I am ready to roll.

MAF wired up right? I know that was a big issue for me. Check my thread here in Engine Tech.

I have seen your thread. Hope to be taking a look at it tonight. I thought maybe I was missing something in my setup.

you more than likely need to have your ecu reflashed for your exact setup. That would probably cure your issues.

May be what I have to do. Can a JWT ecu be tuned by say a local tuner on a dyno with the help of a laptop?

Nope.... can not.

why don't you try and sell the ecu you have and 1)purchase a new one that fits your setup or 2) get a new EMS

I suppose I will have to go that route. Could I use an saf-c on top of my boost controller to run this setup semi safe? This truly sucks. I just want to enjoy my first turbo 240 out of the 3 I have owned.

check your grounds on the engine, intake mani and injectors.. i had the same problem, id punch the car, then after 3.5Krpm it would bog and sputter all the way to rev limiter and i can feel the car like its having a fuel cut off all the way through the high RPMs, if you are in the same situation i was in, i just checked all my ground and now my car runs like a champ.
