//update: So, its not the front main seal..

---
previous post:

I have a terrible oil leak from my SR. Today I finally realized its not coming out of where I thought it was coming from (chain tensioner). The oil is spread throughout the whole front of the motor. I believe this is happening due to the oil getting on the drive belts and the drive belts flinging the oil everywhere. This all started when the motor didn't run for months.

Is this a familiar front main seal issue? What I am afraid is it is coming from the front cover which requires serious dis assembly. Any input?

Here are some quick pics i took with my phone:

yep, 99.9% its the fms. then the crank pulley throows the oil around.

luckily the fms is super easy to change :)

I'm pretty blown finding out everything I've replaced over the past week turned out to be perfectly fine.

The majority of the oil is on the left side (intake side) of the motor. The oil on the front face is just from the pulleys and drive belts flinging the oil everywhere.

-It dosn't make any sense the upper oil pan would leak only when the motor is running, so I'm going to rule that out.
-the oil filter is not loose, and even if it was, the oil wouldn't reach any of the drive pulleys
-Where is the oil cooler and relieve valve in the diagram? Are they prone to leaking?
