i recently bought a euro spec Zenki from a guy over here in Germany. it was his project car (big mistake, but its mine now). i have been slowly fixing all of the janky work that was done to the car...

this is what the engine bay looked like back in December...

i don't have alot os spare time so it has taken me a while to correct all of the little dumb mistakes, and do some body work. i wwas thinking that the car was ready to drive, but noooooooo... when ever i take her over 4-5k rpms, she starts to cough and spit on me, at idle she purrs like a kitten. i am new to nissans, so i have done some homework and i think that its the Z32 MAF that is givig me problems... are you supposed to install an upgrade like this on a stock motor? the valvetrain is built, but thats it....

help please!!! i will post new engine bay shots tomorrow!

I would go back to an sr maf if I were you. It depends on what you're trying to do though.

if your computer is not tuned for a Z32 MAF or if you dont have an SAFC then the Z32 will not work.

Find a stock MAF for the correct Version of your Engine.

But check for Boost/ Vac leaks

Is that duct tape I see???

Fix that shit first
