i have a stock ka24de that i just put in my 92 240 it ran fine for a day but then started overheating, found out the water pump was leaking so i changed it and put a new thermostat in but its still overheating. i noticed that the radiator is spitting water out when i rev up the motor so im leaning toward the headgasket... and also when the radiator cap is on and the bleeder screw is off, the car sits at normal temp with just air coming out but when i put it on it overheats. theres no water in the oil or oil in the water..exaust has no smoke or anything and smells normal....ive looked all over the forums about headgasket simptoms but havnt found any hard facts...any help would be great i really want to figure this out....thanks zach

when you installed the thermo did you put the jiggle valve on the top and also try bleeding with your heater full blast

you could have a bubble in the coolant system .... do what s13boy89 said run the car with the heater on ....to open up the heater core... and keep adding coolant till its full

no, holy shit.
did you try bleeding it? go jack up the front of the car, start the car while cool and let it get to operating temp. when it does, start shaking, humping, etc.. your car so you can move the air through the system and out the radiator. if you still get bubbles after half an hour, keep bleeding it.

blead the system for an hour today and changed the thermastat still the same prob it wont overheat while at idle or when rev it up and hold it at 3500 rpm but as soon as i drive it for 2 minutes it overheats....it cant be the gage cuz i just put a new one in and i can tell its really hot.could it be the radiator cap.... or water pump

jack up the fron of the car...open the the radiator , take off bleeder screw...
i assume ur sayin that the heater lines are looped to one another, either that or ur descriptions suck monkey turds...if so dont worry about heater obviously...
add water and keep adding until you see water coming out of the bleeder screw and rad fill hole...close both up when solid stream of water flow out...fill the reservoir to required amount...drop ur car...stop crying...if u still over heat ur not being patient enough for this car, if thats the case sell it...
