Back when I had to deal with my ref ticket, I actually passed the exhaust one(swapped aftermarket exhaust for stock), but failed the emissions part of it.

My registration was due also(had to smog the car again).

So, I fixed the car up some more, made it run cleaner, took it into smog, passed, and took that paper in to court with me.

The judge didn't mind the fact that I had it tested at a regular smog station instead of making it pass at the ref station. Only had to pay the $10 court fee.

Maybe I just got lucky?

im really trying to get an alternator for KA24DE. SO is it for a dual cam? Is it in good working condition? do you know how many miles the engine it came from had? please reply, My car is dead right now, and im pretty sure its my alternators fault =\
