So I woke up on saturday excited to put my brand new eBay intake on, since it was the last thing I needed to complete my KA24DE swap. The installation went smoothly but then I connected my battery the wrong way I put the the negative on the positive and the positive on my negative. I fried most of my fuses. I replaced all of them except my alternator fuse. When I jumped my alternator fuse I got all of my interior accessories to work again. But the problem now is that I can't get my ignition coil to spark ! I cant find the relay for the ignition coil either my fuse box has it labled but theres no relay or slot for a relay there. Does anyone know what could be wrong.

Try a new coil... it might be blown!

That's what I told my pops but he said they rarely blow and I had a spare one( unknown condition) and that one didn't work either. How possible is it to blow a coil

What do you mean by jumped your alternator fuse?

I hope you didnt go and put a piece of metal so it would bridge the electricity but leave the wires unprotected?

get another alternator fuse. also a chance you blew your fusable link by the battery

If I blew my fusable link would it stop making the ignition coil spark ? Could the ECU be fried ? Could the Ignition Coil be fried ? Which one do you guys think is all cooked up ?

ecu could be fried. seen it on a few cars, blowing the alt fuse then ecu fries. probablly because u rigged the alt fuse... shouldnt jump it... thats what its there for so you dont damage other stuff

Yeahh I took the ecu out and took a look I fried a diode I'm replacing it in the morning. I didn't make it to the electronics supply store in time. I'm thinking its the ignition coil relay, its a tiny little relay near the ignition coil. Has anyone ever had that blow out ?
