After 8 months of my car being down due to blown motor i've got it running again. I did a rebuild on the bottom end as follows:
CP 87 mm 9.0:1 pistons
OEM rods/new OE bearings
ARP rod bolts
Balanced, decked, polished crank by local machine shop.

Setup:
T3/T4 50 trim, .63 exh. stage 3 wheel.
Peakboost manifold
ISIS intake mani. Dwerks 740cc, HKS 264 step 1 cams
Enthalpy ECU
The car now has about 400 miles on it and i've started to get on it some and it feels great. My spring is a 1 bar and i've only let it rev to about 6k so far but the car is pulling very hard by 6 grand, I cant wait to see how it feels up to 8k.

From the1st start till now things have gone very smooth and I'm very excited about turning up the boost. I just pray every day that the thing holds together this time. Let me say this too about the 50 trim. This turbo is awesome. For those of you who would think the turbo is way too laggy it's not. This is the journal bearing version and my wasegate is wide open by 4200 rpm, and should do even better when i get my EBC hooked back up. I know how 300 rwhp feels like in a S14 and i definitely think that at 15 psi it is well over that. I hope like hell i can hit around 400 @ 18-20 psi!! We will find out soon enough tho, i'll keep you posted.

The 50 Trim is an awesome turbo.

I honestly think it's better than.

GT2871R
GT3071R and even
GT3076R for the money.

The trick is....

50 Trim wheel (.60 AR T04E housing - HAS TO BE THIS ONE) and P Trim T4 turbine wheel (DONT USE A T3 WHEEL) and use a .63 Turbine Housing(T3) that is machined out to pit the large T4 Turbine wheel.

Expect full 20 PSI by 4200 RPMS (even with 264 Cams) and a very broad torque curve that doesnt drop off until 7K even with a stock intake manifold.

The torque is amazing too (more torque than any of the turbos I mentioned above).

just a tip...to anyone building a 400 HP SR on a budget
