hey...im in the process of getting my ka rebuilt. i blew the head gasket and am getting the whole engine redone. just wondering what other ppl have paid and what kind of work was done.
my engine is a 95 ka with 189,xxx miles in the rebuild process. within the next 3 months will also be going kat. this i will do myself. normally i do all my work but between school and work i didnt have the time to do this.

-new felpro engine gasket kit
-cometic mls hg, stock bore
-nismo thermo
-head decked
-new stock pistons by itm
-clevite main and rod bearings
-new 6 puck clutch (f1 racing disc with exedy pressure plate, imma give ebay a try, it looks pretty good)
-arp head studs 10mm

this is whats going on the engine now. for this im paying about $1000.

i could actually get him to put in the turbo kit for the same price but i need a few more pieces and want to break in the engine first.
this is what i have so far for the turbo :
-walbro 255 fp
-sr 370cc injecetors
-rb25 t28 turbo
-jgs manifold
*all turbo pieces sourced from zilvians*

so basically just looking to see what other ppl have paid and what has been done. post if you've paid for a ka-t build also.

looks good but you should do some low comp pistons and good rods while it's apart...
