I've read sometime back that when installing Nismo engine mounts on a ka..you use the nismo left for right side, and nismo right for left side? My question is does this prevent the increase in engine positioning height?
My mounts are used still in box..just wondering cause I have a STB I really like but the curve to it might give just enough motor clearance after the nismo mounts. Thats why I'm wondering. It's carbon fiber so I don't want anything rubbing.
Just read one post where a person said put the mount with the thickest sandwich plates on the side the motor tilts to when u rev it. Last I recall, the motor rocks from intake side to exhaust side. So the mount with the thicker plates around it would go on exhaust manifold side? That mount also happens to have a piece of metal around it bolted at the bottom. Other mount doesn't.
