I have a few questions and hopefully can get some recommendations about a route to go with ignition parts for my KA-T setup.

Currently I am running heat range 7 NGK plugs, and Accel plug wires. The motor is a stock S14 KA24DE with a T3 top mount turbo setup running about 10-14psi on 91 pump gas. The ecu was tuned by enthalpy.

I need to change my plugs and was wondering if I should go with stock plugs and wires and just changing the gap a little lower than stock, or what you guys might recommend going with, and why.

I am also NOT apposed to upgrading my ignition system if it is within a reasonable price range, so if anyone has some suggestions in that area please let me know.

Thanks for all the help in advance and if any other information is needed please let me know.

Im thinkin you can keep the stock ign. Just go with a colder plug. You may not be making that much power to upgrade the primary side.

Well you saty a t3 at 10 psi. So what kind of numbers are you making. If you dont know, how big is the compressor?

I am running 2 heat ranges colder then stock. IIRC it is 7. My plugs are gapped to IIRC .23-.25

However, I am running a solid 18psi daily.

stay with colder plugs, if your looking to upgrade your spark try this out

Is there a problem though? That you want to change plugs.

There didn't seem to be any major problems. But the plugs are fouled due to the car running extremely rich(had a bad o-ring on a injector). So I want to change them out, and figured if I am going to make any changes to the system this would be the best time to do it.

Also does anyone know if it is worth it to go with upgraded plug wires over OEM one's? I think OEM is 7mm thick and I was looking at going with these

Magnecor Spark Plug Wire Set Nissan 240SX 1991-1998 4 Cylinder 8mm Ignition Cables (Blue) :: Sparkplug Wires :: Ignition :: UltraRev, Inc. (http://www.ultrarev.com/product.php?productid=35796), they are 8mm and not sure what the performance gain would be if any.

That write up looks like a good idea. The only problem is my car is a S14, I should have clarified that. The distributor does not have an external coil which can be wired like the S13 can. I am going to have to look around and see if there is a setup like that one for a S14.

Go with ngk wires. They are really nice and allot of our customers like them just fine. They are working great on the shop owners 430whp 455wtq s14 ka with stock coil and bkr7e plugs.

So yes, if your going to make any changes just go with the wires. Sure you can go with a better coil but it shouldnt really be necessary.
