OB2 EGR removal Help..

need help im looking to take off all the EGR and stuff since im puting a New KA in my 240 but its Ob2 and i know its dif than OB1 and i cant find any help with removeing it all for a OB2 KA.. any info would be much appreciated

if they are exactly the same then what is this?? beacause im possitive its not on a OB1 KA

That's the EVAP purge volume control solenoid valve. Has absolutely nothing to do with EGR. Nothing.

The FSM would have told you that.

ok.. well is it needed lol or can i take it off...it just cofused me when i saw it caz its not a s13 engine.

If the engine is going into a 89-95 chassis, or if you don't care about passing OBD-II inspection on a 96-98 chassis, yes. You can remove all the associated parts for the EVAP system.

ok kool thxs for the help and ill take it off i live in a county in TN that dosent have emission testing so i dont have to worrie bout anything like that :D
