2 part Question is: should I try to run 1 Big ELEC fan or 2 10" ELEC fans?
2 Fans = more surface area??Problem?
There will be no Shroud on either of these ^

Or I have a chance to get a Dual G20 Fans that of course HAVE a shroud.

Please - Discuss
The Ol' GREAT Radiator/Fan test that 2 guys did for the SR20 was Great but is no longer avail ANYWHERE.

No shroud? Slim fans kind of have a shroud. If it had no shroud it would look like a clutch fan with no shroud.. shroud..shroud..shroud.....shroud..lol

I think theres usually flow specs on the fans. Check to see what flows more air and compare to what fits best.

how big is big? is money a factor? a great and sufficient upgrade is the ford taurus efan upgrade, flows a lot and are available for cheap, comes with a shroud that fits pretty well on 240s.

u might as well go for 2 12"s if u want to go for 2. i actually have a 14 and a 12. was going with 2 14's but didnt fit

heres my input.

get 2 12 inch fans that pull no more than 10 amps each.

if you get say taurus or altima fans. they'll pull nearly 20 amps per fan on high. personall the altima fans suck up way too much power when they're on.

if you get two 12 inch fans on from isis or the procomp ones from ebay you will be just fine. just make sure you relay them with a thermostatic switch.

im going with this set up because of the long ass rb25 thats going in. i'd keep the rb clutch fan if it would fit.

^ exactly my situation, i wish i could fit the stock clutch fan. last year my single 14" as a pusher didnt work too well if i was parked or a lot of stop and go driving... hopefully adding another fan will help out

Correct,..the fans are Kind of "Shrouded" but not FULL Shroud like my other car w/ the Clutch fan.

G20 Fans (w/ Shroud) I hear are the Shit as well (like Taurus) so I may go that route,..but I have to Mushimoto fans that came on the radiator when I bought the car but I hardly trust anything on this Motor from the Prev owner.

I'm running SR Clucth and Shroud on my Daily.

This car is the Track car w/ Stance Water pump Pulley and have the DIF fan controller (came w/ car) and either 2 10" ELEC's or Infiniti G20 fan unit to choose from right now.

i would run two fans and a dual temp controller. you can set one to come on at initial temp and w/ ac on. the other you can set at a higher temp. that way you only have the amperage draw when you really need the cooling. if you only have one fan and no shroud, you will only be cooling one section of the radiator.

try fabbing up or buying some radiator panels that should direct more cold air into the rad.
