ove been doin my research and i havent found my answer. i have a redtop sr20 in my car and need to change the tranny fluid. this is my first time doing it and i was wondering if ti will be difficult to do it. also if anyone can let me know where the drain and fill plug is on the transmission is as well.

lift the car up and look at the tranny theres two big screws. one on the bottom one on the side. grab a big torque wrench and get to work. make sure to use gl-4
remove the drain plug
let the fluid drain from the tranny
put the plug back in
remove the shifter
pour the fluid from the top of the shifter into the tranny
pretty easy.. just need to remove the c-clip on the shifter ( you'll need snapping pliers ).
edit: or you could go through the hassle of removing the filler plug.. and pumping the fluid into the tranny..

this is what i do because pumping fluid in the filler hole sucks even with a grease gun. im a pro at getting the shifter clip out with two screwdrivers :aw:
