I recently got my sr20 running and it is having a sputtering problem at around 2,500 rpms. At around 2,500-2,700 it will sputter and then after it passes into higher rpm's it runs strong until redline. Also, it seems that higher the gear I am in, the higher rpm's it will do it at.

It is an s13 redtop with a t28 turbo, walbro 255 fp, fmic, blitz bov and thats about it. It has stock injectors, MAF, and no type of fuel controll. I was thinking it may have something to do with running rich because of no fuel controll or stock injectors. I am buying an safc II soon so I hope it will help.

Any help will be appreciated.
thanks

how much boost are you running? It shouldnt be anymore than .8Bar

Check your engine grounds though.

Thats one of the problems, I dont know how much boost im running. I dont have a gauge and I am not sure what the previous owner had it set on. As of now, I think it is on stock boost. Could that cause the problem?

Recirq? WTF? Really? Some people shouldn't be allowed to speak.

So you bought the car with all of these mods? First thing you should do is get a boost gauge.. ASAP.. and the car shouldnt require any tuning in any way shape or form to run.

Do you know what your A/FR's are ?? First thing first I would get a wideband. you could be going lean at that rpm....
