Power steering rack and pump fitments

Hey guys,

I'm switching out my current power steering rack and pump (cause they broke) for a new set. I wanted to know if anyone knew FOR SURE that if I bought a KA rack and pump, they would both fit on my SR. I heard that either way for the rack, I needed a KA rack because I have a 240 instead of a silvia (cause of the Left Hand Drive).

However for the pump, I heard that you could use a KA pump on a SR, but would just have to switch the pulley and brackets. Is that true?

Any help someone could give would be great. I don't want to buy something if its not gunna work. And just to clarify... I have a SR.

yes its true. my buddy had try this and they are the same. as long as they are same.

Correct. It's been covered a lot in the forum accually, ka and sr pump's are interchangeable
