s13 ebrake cable questions

i have an s13 hatch an just did a s14 5lug an big brake conversion an noticed that the e brake cable ends are different so i was wondering if i got e brake cables off an s14 would they work? or am i going to have to do a lot of modifying?

WHAT?? what "big brake conversion" did u do in the back?? are u trying to use s-14 calipers in the rear?? why? just use the stock s-13 calipers

no it is just in the front but 5 lug all way around an the ebrake end links an different on the s13 an 14 an was wondering tho what all ill need to hook the ebrake back up

wait so you only upgraded the front brakes but your asking what you need for the for stock rear brakes? calipers are the same for s13 and s14 and as far as i know the only difference between the s13 and s14 cables is the length.

IIRC the difference in between the s-14 and s-13 caliper is the "horseshoe" where the cable attaches to the caliper. which is why OP cant use s-14 rear calipers on s-13...

but the s13 caliper wont fit on the s14 rotor. do you know if the s14 cable is longer or shorter than the s13?

ahh your right, but on the caliper that piece should be able to be swapped over for the s13's right?

yes the s-13 caliper will fit the s-14 rotor

i dont know for sure yet its got that little pin in the way i was thinking about shaving it off a little so i could slide it off then just switch the over like that an the just weld up an edge back on the s14 one

the dimmensions of the rotors are the same, therefore the s-13 calipers will fit on the s-14 rotor....done n done.
