rb25det turbo elbow question

hey guys I have been searching on here for a while but I cant find the answer to my question, when I had my sr20det the greddy turbo elbow I had on it was 3" but when I am looking at the ones for the rb25det I cant find what size they are cause they dont look like they are 3" from all the pics I have seen, and what diameter is the stock rb25det turbo elbow? thanks guys.:bite:

Syko Perfomrace sells one with the kit but im sure if you contact them they will sell you one seperate

the stock elbow is around 2 1/2 inch i think, cant remember I threw mine away

i have my stock one out, ill measure it and get back to you when i can. but im pretty sure its not3". im guessing its like 2 1/2"

The reason I ask is i am going to run the rb25det in a new project sandrail/buggy i will be building and i dont have to worry about any of the aftermarket elbows hitting the steering because it will not be in a car. So i was asking because even like those crappy ones on ebay might be what im looking for because there will only be about 1 foot of exhaust piping with a race muffler on the end with no cat or anything so if the stock elbow is 2.5" i need to know what size the aftermarket ones are because if it is still 2.5" like the factory one there will be no point in buying one because of the kind of exhaust i will be running. I notice that most all the aftermarket elbows have a separate tube for the wastegate but the greddy one i had for my sr was divided but one big pipe 3"

Also does anyone know of any air filter adapters for a k&n that will bolt onto the rb25det MAF, or do i have to go with the apexi one like i had on my sr?

nevermind i think i finally found that the z32 filter adapter will fit the rb25det MAF.

the stock turbo elbow i believe is 2.75 inches ( correct me anyone if im wrong )

but if you really want to upgrade the elbow then i would suggest it . the turbo Does spool earlier but nothing crazy . i put one of these on a buddies Rb25 and we did notice a great differnce.

i havent really seen any elbows besides that divorced style, unless it was a custom one. didnt get a chance to get into my garage yesterday to measure for you though. ill proablly have time this weekend
