alright im fixing to put in my rebuilt ka24de that i just bought but i noticed that there was something that looked like a nut stuck in the second cylinder well i asked some technicians and they say it looks like a spark plug spacer and thats all good but the thing is i dont know how to get it out i used a 5/8 socket and that was to small so i used a 11/16 socket and that was to big to fit in the cylinder so now im fresh out of ideas if anybody has been through this or has any ideas please let me know thanks!

Cant you fish it out? Use that claw tool or use a safety wire...

uhh. pull your valve cover off, so you can get closer to it. and use a long screw driver and pry that shit out.

What's a "nut"?

What's a "spark plug spacer"? indexing washer?

well i bought it from a guy on craigslist and he said he had it rebuilt a year or so ago but he said he doesnt have any of the paperwork saying what all he has done to it, and it looks like the head has been ran but i did get the nut out turns out it was really a compression tester adapter that the guy had left in there haha but if anyone just happens to run into the same problem a eazy-out screw extractor works pretty good.
