KA oil pump!?!?!

this is for a friend not for me ok this is the prob he has a twincam ka and he said his car was siting for about a week and it was working fine and all of a suden a week later theres no oil going threw the motor im telling him its the oil pump that went out ....might there b something els that can cause this?

Very rare for an oil pump to just go out suddenly since it's crank driven, could have gotten something lodged in the pickup tube. Either way he needs to drop the pan and check.
