:duh: Hello, I'm new here to this forum. Any body out whop can help me with my problem on my KA. The service engine light came on the when I went to auto zone the OBDII reader said I need to replace the IAC and the charcoal canister. Anybody here got the same issue? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

well judging by the code, you need to replace the iac which is idle air control, do you notice your car idling funny or stalling when coming to traffic lights?

AHHHH I hate my bad IAC...Blows Balls!!!...you'd notice it though, car will try to stall when you come to a stop as mentioned above. Pretty common on higher mileage 240's in my experience.

The charcoal canister doesn't exist on 96+ cars, it's replaced with the EVAP canister in the rear passenger side wheel well, behind the tire. There is no way to know if it's bad since it's controlled by over a dozen sensors, find the exact code your ECU is putting out then you can narrow it down to the culprit.
