Tach jumps at random times

I noticed recently that after starting my car on two seperate occasions it sounded like it wanted to die...almost like when I pull the fuel pump fuse to release pressure to change the fuel filter. It only lasted for a second or two, but then it corrects itself and all is good afterwards.

Then I noticed sometimes when driving the tach will jump up a couple rpms or drop real fast sometimes but then smooths out, but I don't feel it..it's basically all visual watching the needle. It doesn't do it at idle either, car runs smooth moving or stopped

Just wondering if anyone knows why? Wanted to say maybe my tach is broke, but then the rough starts my motor has had those two times makes me think it could be engine related?

I put in bouncing tach, jumping tach and couple other things...none had results that I needed. I've read a few posts in other searches..and everybody else has questions about their car cutting off, runs rough all the time, and other symptoms I did nto state above.

I'm well aware of the search funtion and I always try to find the answer on my own before posting.
