View Full Version : Sr clutch problem!!!

well i put a new ACT extreme clutch kit in my car. but when i push the clutch to the floor, theres no presure at all and it doesnt come back up....i put in a brand new slave cylinder. would the smallest leak in the clutch line do this? i also took out the clutch dampener box. please help me out, thanks guys.

master cylinder is probably shot or you still have air in the lines

Throughy bleed the lines if no dice then its probably the MC

i had the same problem.
so i took out that box the bleed the system and the pedal got hard but doesn't come back up all the way. never figured the problem just driving it like that.

ive had to pull the engagment rod by hand to be able to pump it to get the residual air out... doesnt mean this is the problem but you should give it a shot and see if you can get it to work

ok. i'll bleed the brakes real good i guess, and if no go....guess im getting a new master cylinder, thanks guys for the help, keep ya updated.

yo mean the clutch system right?

brakes an clutch are two different systems

or you could spend $30 on a rebuild kit for your master cylinder!

Or get a new one with warranty for $40
