Removing rear speakers, now car won't start

Ok so the problem is simple yet complicated.

I was removing my rear speakers and the clarion amplifier from my 96 s14.

So I unscrewed/unbolted them. I wanted to get rid of all of the wires also...

So I just cut them off.

Tried to start car now it won't even crank.

I have power in everything, except when I turn to start car the relay just clicks and it doesn't even crank.

Is their a wire that I cut that I need to reconnect or something? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you snip the fuel pump wire? maybe not fully but it could be grounding on something... this is why I never cut wires haha

No, he didn't cut the fuel pump WIRES (there's 4 of them). You have a starter problem (maybe dead battery?). Get some jumper cables and start that bish back up.

I tried hitting the starter quite a few times with a pipe and no luck, and I will try and jump it again.

I have had starter trouble before but I had it rebuilt not long ago.

Are there any important wires running along the driver side of the car that would do this? If so which color.

and btw I can hear the fuel pump come on and I have fuel pressure.

That's exactly what I said. No, nothing that runs down the driver's side of the interior harness has anything to do with your problem, as you're
getting clicks so it's not your clutch interlock.

I guess I will jack up the car and hit the starter really good and try to start it.

If that doesn't work I guess I will take it out and see what the problem is.

Another thing is there is an alpine security/alarm system that is under the drivers seat.

A bunch of wires are connected to that, so then would it be possible that there is some sort of ignition wire going to it and I maybe have just loosened the connection and it is preventing it from starting?

Dude, stop hitting your starter. If you recently had it rebuilt, that's not the problem. GIVE IT SOME JUICE - jumper cables to a running car, jesus.

Have someone else turn the key while you listen for clicks inside the engine bay - if you're getting a starter click, then it has nothing to do with your alarm or wiring - if not, then that might be where your problem is.

Why in hell would you do that? The starter is not ground triggered. Grounding it will blow a shit ton of fuses.

To the OP, did you cut each wire separately, and tape them all up? You do know there's power leads to the amps, shorting them would blow fuses too, not enough to not start but enough to make a lot of other things not work.

ya dont do that. just bridge the solenoid

i wonder if you may have grounded one of your power wires and fried your ecu. i have seen it done with maf wires....just a thought

I tried jumping it, no luck.

I removed all of the wires completley, and still nothing.

Jacked the front end of the car up, got under, looked at starter, and the freaking clip was somehow disconnected.

Plugged it back in and it cranked right up.

So problem solved, thanks for the help everyone.

I have been having a similar issue with my car for some time now keys in turn key all relays click and....
Nothing No load nothing ill check the solenoid clip and see what happens.
