OK so after the 626Drift topgun event, my motor has been acting funny.
Anytime I hold throttle around 2k to 3k it sputter and bogs. I replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, fixed and exhaust leak and still doing it. Disconnected the maf and checked each fuel injector to see if that was the problem. no fix. I read a thread on the similar problem and it had to do with the maf and knock sensor but I don't know how to check the knock sensor. Im also wondering if my Catco might be clogged. If anyone has had this problem before with there KA24DE please contact me.

Go pull codes off the ECU. Tell us what you get.
Other than that is it a stock KA? Any mods that could have an affect? Need more info.

I'll check the codes tomorrow. Im running Dc headers and injen intake and that's about it.

Camshaft position sensor
1. Remove the distributor assembly from the engine.
2. Disconnect the ignition wires and coil wire from the distributor.
The camshaft position sensor electrical harness should remain connected.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON.
4. Measure voltage between the camshaft position sensor terminals and ground.
5. With the engine's distributor shaft rotating slowly, voltage should fluctuate between 0 and 5 volts.
If the voltage signal is checked with the engine running, the normal reading will be 2.3 volts (average voltage). An oscilloscope may also be used to view the pulse signal.
6. If voltage does not fluctuate or is not within specification, check the circuits for damage.
7. If the circuits are functional, the sensor may be faulty.
8. Install the distributor and connect the ignition and coil wires.
9. Erase stored memory codes.
The best way to verify if you cat is clogged is to remove it and look at it. If it's not clogged, you will be able to see a little bit of light coming in.

I have the same problem on my 91 240sx. I still have yet to find a solution. I chaned out the plugs and wires so far. At first my car was idling like crap and super loud. Found out it was due to a bad injector. Replaced that but the boggy-ness was still there around 2k-3k on 1st gear. Is your problem at anytime in the rpm range or just in first gear? I get this sputter and bog going over bumps as well...just havent had time to really troubleshoot the problem. :(

Ok so I have checked the ecu and no codes are showing. Disconnected the cat and still having the issue. I will check the Tps and Cps next. ^ it does it in all gears.

^ please tell me how you check the camshaft position sensor
Ive been having a problem i get codes for throttle position sensor and camshaft position sensor. My car does pretty much the same thing as yours forever dark..
if you go half throttle does it sputter or is only on full throttle?
mine does it only when on full throttle.
ive also changed my tps with 2 different ones and nada.
do you have to change the entire distributor if your camshaft position sensor is bad?
lmk man maybe we can help each other out.
