So Ive been thinking of a motor swap from sr20 to rb. and well I think rb is more bang for the buck, and sexy and well cool.

So Ive have done some research on parts etc. but what Im trying to figure out is possiable things to do before the drop in and if there good ideas and what I might get horsepower wise so here is a list of things I want to do before the drop in...

1.rb25
2. greddy or like intake manifold,
3. q45 throttle body
4. bigger turbo on stock manifold not sure which ones fits or stock turbo how much boost can a stock rb turbo run? or go to4
5. no cat exhuast, 3 inch to muffler
6 550 injectors
7. front mount intercooler
8. jwt tuned ecu or power fc not sure which one.

just need some help on what to expect and which turbo I should run. jsut looking for 350 to 400hp, nothing serious this is going to be a street drivin car only not track, just want it to be fun.

thanks guys if no one chimes in its cool..
just seeing what I might get. or if i even need to do all of this lol...

its always a good idea to replace the water pump and oil pump to the n1 and to change the timing belt and please take the time to take your tranny out and check your clutch. The rb turbo because it has a ceramic blades can only be pushed so far i seen people push it to 14psi and be ok but the turbos life is cut in half. Have fun trying to find a power fc because they were discontinued a while ago so if you find one its ether going to be in bad condtions or marked up. What motor mounts did you go with? i made my own motor munts and used the skyline xmember i got really good results and could run allmost every aftermarket mani.

Yes I am plannin go on doing the w.p. oil p. and timing belt for sure. and replace the clutch if need be.
motor mounts Im going to go with the syko probably. and the only thing I cant find or know where to get it is the r33 gst subframe that they say you need.

So I guess I will check on turbo that fit the stock manifold that will flow to 350-400hp.

So you made your own mounts thats cool. i dont have the tools to do that one lol..

A HKS GT2530 or 2535 or 2540 will put you right in that ballpark. I ran a GT2530 and was pretty much doing 300whp at 11 psi. with stock injectors, PowerFC, q45 throttle body, stock exhaust mani, syko elbow/downpipe,high flow cat and 3.25 exh. going with a high flow cat will not limit your HP and it will put cleaner exhaust out.
I did not really get a chance to dyno it after I installed a z32 maf and 550 injectors because the car got sold.

Though I loved the GT2530 and its capable of much larger numbers than the conservative 1 bar rating HKS has listed it for it. It spooled instantly and the car was insanely quick.
