help..no throttle response

I just put a new s13 redtop in my zenki and since my maf is bad I have to hold the gas down to get it to idle, but when I give it gas, no matter how much, nothing happens. Can somone help me out here? Thanks

Replace your MAF sensor, it's that simple

but my old motor was running with the same maf sensor. and it ran. and had throttle response.

it could have got damaged in the swap over to new motor
try another maf and see how it runs

well it's weird, i dont know what maf i have. i bought a stock s13 redtop maf and the plug doesnt match up. i thought the sohc and the sr maf plugs were the same..
