I have an electric water pump that I'm gonna be installing on the beater

I know how it's to be installed but still have a few questions...

1. Do I need to drill any holes in the thermostat so to not cause any backup in flow?

2. I assume by this thing running full time, that I would never get water temps up? Should I control this with my fan controller?

I hate to sound like a noob fucko, but just want to double check before isntalling it.

What pump are you running.

The davies pump and controller rocks, I think DSG runs that on the maxi.

I dunno, I wouldn't have a lot of faith in this mess.

I could see a wire shorting out and pump stopping and being a giant mess.

That's what I keeps me from even going through with the entire mess

pros: get a good temp gauge. thats why you have a water temp gauge in the car that is very visible. knowing how to do proper wiring doesnt hurt either.

cons: even irl cars run mechanical water pumps. with the electric pumps like Mezierre, or w/e its called. they give you a certain number of operating hours which is much less then a stock pump.

Check, and Check. I've actually got water temp in/out and the factory one for show hahaha

There are plenty of motorsports cars thta do you use the electric ones though too....but correct. Mezzy is something like 2000 hours....which is a lot, but not sometihng I want to worry about.

I guess for this car, being street minded....I'll just keep it the same.
