ECU Problem (S13 SR REDTOP)

well i went to start my car tonight and noticed my safc nor my fuel pump would come on so i put myhead down by the ecu and it had this strong smell of burnt something, does anyone have any idea on what happened, or what could have caused this?

check your engine harness for any damage/melting.

ecu is most likely fried.

i have a spare ecu i can sell you (if you want one) - but i would try and source the cause first.

you can also have an electronics shop repair the ecu - so look into that as well.

Yeah looks like that cap there is burnt out.

Please figure out where you have a short and fix it quick, before you try another ECU.
