i have an SR20 with a DISTRIBUTOR!!!

howdy all, i have a s13 redtop sr20 with a freakin distributor...yea i know. im not sure what distributor im using, cause i bought it from some college kid. i was just wonding what i would need to change over to a factory CAS. also I think im using a KA harness spliced for a SR. because i have a stock SR maf and the plug for my maf i have now doesnt fit...my whole set is one big cluster f*ck..lol if you need a pic of the dizzy i'll throw one up.. thanks guys

Some SR's do come with distributors from factory. The person you bought it off of probably bought an N/A then eventually turbo'd it.

dont you mean a sr harness with sliced ka harness parts?

for a new cas your looking around 200 bucks, gl wit it, i love these motors

so you have an NA sr20 with a distributor that was boosted and running on a CA18det ecu?

if i got that right then that's pretty weird.

Sounds like my setup... SR20DE (turboed), KA harness, B13 (91-94 sentra) JWT ECU. Works great for me, but then again I know that my JWT ecu is programmed for what I'm running.

If the CA ecu is for a CAS, then I don't see how it would work with a distributor setup...

well if i did have just a sr20de with a turbo then i dont anymore, cause i bought a whole new motor fully rebuilt by me and still gotta break it in.
