I was just wondering what you guys recommend for porting and polishing? Should I have a three angle or a five angle valve job done? I have read on here that you should not port and polish the intake or the exhaust side of the head. From what I read the intake side is already well done for air flow, and the exhaust side, I read something about it changing the exhaust pressure. I have also read that people have done it and had good results. I'm looking to achieve 400+ horsepower, and I have the Ferrera valve train kit with Tomei 270 cams, a Greddy intake manifold and a Tomie expreme exhaust manifold.
On a different topic, does anyone know if the valve lockers off of a SR20DE are the same as the lockers off a SR20DET?
I have just one more question. I have a N15 throttle body with an adapter plate to mount it to my Greddy intake manifold. What gaskets and how many do I need to use to seal the adapter plate to my intake manifold? Does anyone know the part number for the gaskets as well as the throttle position sensor? I had the number for the throttle position sensor but I lost my hard drive so now I need it again because I am unable to locate it.
Thanks

I found the answer to the TPS question. For anyone else that may need this info.
The sensor that goes in the N15 throttle body is the same that goes in...S14,S15,P11,U14,B14,B15,A32,R34 (SR18/20DE-DET,VQ20DE,RB25DET)
AND THE PART NUMBER IS ONE YOU CAN CALL YOU LOCAL NISSAN DEALER AND ORDER!!!!

The part I can help you with is the n15 throttle body one. You can use a stock ka gasket for inbetween the plate and the intake manifold. Your going to have to cut it anyways if you port match which I would recommend. I didnt do this to mine yet and I would like to.
I just made all my gaskets. I used rol gaskets brand tp20 fp-3046 treated fiber gasket sheet. I got it at O'riley auto parts for less than $10. Just lay the pieces out on the gasket and trace with a pen the areas your going to need to cut and the screw holes. I then used copper sealer on it as well.
Good find on the tps, I actually modified mine to make it work (pretty heavely lol) by trimming off plastic, cutting the metal leg and some other stuff. It works but it was a pain to adjust correctly. It works but Im aftaid of ever un installing it because it took really long to set up properly.
What Im wondering is if you need the pigtail off anything different in order to use the tps that you listed? Or will the stock one fit?
Thanks.

Are you using new valves or replacing the seats? It's not worth it to do an angle job on the valves unless you are installing and cutting new seats.

4x4le- I think I read you use you stock pigtail. I will have research abit more.
S14DB- I have new BC stainless valves. They are 1mm oversized. I know, they show no gains. I just wanted to try it out myself. Thats why I'm curious about the head work

I found a pic on one of the other forums. But it was clear enough to tell if its three or four prong.

Ok thanks. I guess something for us to do is see if we can find anyone with a s14 sr and have them take a picture of their connector for us.

S14SR's are 3 pin.

S14SR's are 3 pin.
Do you know if the harness from an s13 sr will plug into the s14 sr tps then? The clip would still have to be similar even if they have the same pins.
I cant remember if s13 is a 3 pin or 4 pin anyways lol. I dont keep my drift car at my house. I havent seen it in probably 2 weeks lol. I miss her.

I switched to SR20DE 6mm stemmed exhaust valves, and the keepers from the det head are currently holding them in place so I can only assume that the reverse of this would work as well.
