i have 18x8.5 xxr 962s in the front of my 91 s13. my front left rim is rubbing the spring on my new godspeed coilover setup.. i am already using the biggest possible spacer before i run out of thread on the wheel studs.(not sure what size spacer) im not sure what to do next? will a alighment fix anything? it does pull to the right. im kinda new at zilvia. any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Is the rim or tire rubbing? If it's the rim, get better offset wheels. haha. Or a bigger spacer (bolt on). Changing camber won't do anything for the front.

its actually rubbing the rim itself but its not constant only if i make hard turns or i hit bumps in the road. im confused doesnt everybody run 18s with coilovers?

it should never change.. either it hits or it doesn't. are you sure you're not rubbing somewhere else?

you have 18x8.5 sportmaxes [xxr's] probably with a 35mm offset.
IT WILL RUB.
get spacers.
or buy rims that actually fit.

that makes sense... but it sounds like metal to metal and thats the only place... and i was having fitmint issues when i did the install. im going to get a alignment 2marrow and see if that does anything. it pulls hard to the right.

haha. I've heard of those. But then you would need to get 5 lug wheels. hehe. And then in that case, you should get better sized wheels so you don't need spacers. lolz.
Get a bolt on 15mm or larger spacer. It should clear the coilover. Are you sure you aren't rubbing your fenders?

haha. they are 5 lug wheels if i knew this would be a issue i would of bought different rims way bback then. i rolled the fenders so it doesn hit there. but left tire does hit the inside fender wall in the front when i turn hard right

35mm offset Sportmax wheels interfere with coilovers. If running Sportmax either get a lower offset or a big spacer. I've had to deal with this before alot
extended studs and bigger spacers should fix the problem...
