after

outlet doesn't clear the manifold...

yes, snap ring, i see it...

buuut, my question pertains to the waste gate...

if i clock the compressor for the air inlet to clear the manifold, i'm going to screw with the angle of that arm pushing the waste gate and over/under boost and then what? anyone ever do this? was the changing of the angle of that arm a big difference or could i get away with just a few degrees?

before i got that idea, i was thinking if there are any after market air outlets that just so happen to clear the manifold. i was thinking about having a flange made, but it would be loot for me to have that cut & honed, and it might not even work, and it would be an ass pain.

any ideas, suggestions, or parts ya'll could offer? thanks

I did this on my T25, don't worry about the wastegate, it'll be fine. I had this EXACT same issue. In fact, you don't even have to squeeze the snap ring, I just loosed up the bolts on the exhaust side of the turbo. They run in a circular array, about 5 or 6 bolts I believe. After you loosen them, it'll actually turn REALLY easy.
