alright. aw11 lowered on eibach pro kit. on the way home i was cut off and swerved across both ways finally hitting the guardrail lightly. ok idk if its that the car needs an alignment (because it does, as per the seller when i bought it a couple days ago) or the guardrail, but today on the way home from college i smelled burning rubber and i wondered if it was my car. i got home
check to see if anything was rubbing the tire. me checking - "no, no, no, daaaamn". i found out that the shock, the bottom part that holds the spring, was rubbing the top corner of the tire : ( (front right btw)alignment or is something bent? thank you!

i can put a picture of the front wheel like 2 ft. back. but i cant take a picture of the tire rubbing the shock because theres literally no room. you can't see any suspension parts from looking straight on. you gotta look from under like in front of the wheel.

what is the size and offset of the wheels? tire size?

i think very likely it is a bent subframe or arms

rock a spacer or something.. or change rims.. i can imagine due to the offset that it would rub on the shock perch.

Is it only rubbing one wheel? If its 2 wheels change wheels or spacers if only one something is most likely bent.

ummmmmmm... its probably because u hit a guardrail and have suspension damage

: / damnit. ya its only one im pretty sure. i should go check to see how close the other one is. you think like a stealie would have a better offset to not rub? prolly try it today or tommorow.

is it on oem wheels? if the spec is close to oem wheels, than you should not rub. take it to frame and alignment shop and have them to check what is bent, or just simply go under your car to measure distance of things

wtf i checked the other side with no damage what so ever, and it is ALMOST rubbing. i say a couple mm's and it would. this is odd.

You probably bent a strut. I've seen a strut hit so hard that you could see a bow in the piston!
