Ok so I have came a loooonnggg way with my swap. It use to bog and stutter really bad around 2500-3000 rpm. So much that the RPMS would not climb at all. It would boost but barely pull. After I reset my timing, the car seems to run much better, but it still bogs a little around 2800prms. Now it pulls great after I get pass the bogging. Also my car is burning A LOT of gas, it runs very rich. I doubt I have have any boost leaks. Anyone have any ideas? Or things I should be looking for?
Specs:
Redtop
Good CAS
Set timing
Good MAF
All coilpacks firing
Stock pump and filter
Full exhaust and turbo elbow
Car idles at 800rpm, doesnt stutter til abount 2800rpm. Stutters for a little bit, then gains rpm and starts to pull.
I do have a tuned ECU, I don't know what its tuned for it came with my motorset. I'm going to search for a local SR to borrow the ECU. That could be the problem.

Yeah, try using an ECU that doesnt have a mystery tune. I had the same problem.

also make sure the tune in the ecu is in the pins correctly if it one pin off it will do this trust me i have been down this road befor

+1 my Computer was making my engine run like that. I figure it that the computer was running in ( limp mode ) which means that the ECU is bad/burn so try swap an ECU. Good luck.

Open the case and make sure the daughterboard hasn't come loose.

If its not the ECU, it could be a bad MAF or a bad water temp sensor...

Alright guys, found a local redtop ecu im going to try tomorrow. Hopefully this solves the issue!

Don't know if this will be the same for you guys in the US, but my UK car did this and it was down to the o2 sensor in the exhaust.

Start with the usual: Double check timing and boost leaks. If those check out good, then try cleaning the maf. If still doesnt help, try swapping for another known good MAF. Work your way from there...check maf wiring, ECU, etc.

My ecu LED is not there. I have heard that some of them don't have them. I have swapped the MAF(although I guess it is possible that one is bad too), replaced fuel filter, checked tank for rust, check timing and CAS, replaced ECU coolant temp sensor, replaced plugs and checked the gap twice, as far as boost leaks I do have a very slight one (around 1 psi drop every 5-10 secs) that I am having trouble finding. I am considering buying all new couplings and clamps, and eliminating possible places.
I have also been told it could be the knock sensor but I need to try all the cheaper things first before buying a 150 dollar sensor.
