So my drivers side door has always had a slight sag, does not close nice and easy like the passenger door. I have to slam it pretty hard and it bugs the living shit outta me! Does anyone know the remedy for this? I was thinking maybe washers on the door pins?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Take a floor jack with a 2x4 on it and jack it up on the inner door structure, not lip. and bend the hinges...do it all the time at work.

that like taking the Bigger Hammer approach. :duh: try pulling the pins and bushings from a good used donor. no matter which way you choose to go, research as to why this happened. is it really the pins that are worn? Or is it the 200 + friend you always taxi leaning on a open door... gl

Best bet is to loosen the bolts on the hinges, then jack the door up. Retighten after the door is lifted a bit. Typically the hinges have some give but by remounting them to the chassis you take out a lot of the sag.

Adjust your door hinge and striker.
It's more art than science though so you may have to pay someone to get perfect alignment if you don't want to spend the time.

The play is deff. coming from the pins, I am going to switch the pins from my parts car and see if that fixes it. Thanks for the input
