I seem to have a charging issue but with a twist. I have a RB26, when I start the car, volt meter on Power FC shows anywhere from 13.9 to 14.1 but as the car warms up, the volt meter will drop to 13.4, 13.3 zone. At night it's worse with HID's it drops to 13.1 ro 13 flat. Needless to stay, if I run across town twice car will barely start.Now if it did not charge strong in the beginning I would understand alt. is bad, but what is the deal with it charging strong in the beginning and then slacks off?
Next question, has someone come up with a more readily available replacement for the RB26 alt. Does anyone know what the stock alt is rated at....volts??
